Hope Chapel's ministries help our members grow in faith, care for one another, serve with purpose, and share the love of Christ in our church and community. Through worship, discipleship, outreach, leadership, and fellowship, we continue the work of building God's Kingdom with hope and love.
Class Leaders serve God by caring for His people. This ministry supports the congregation through prayer, connection, encouragement, and faithful care in partnership with the Pastor. Class Leaders help remain attentive to the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of members, reflecting the sacred call to love others, serve Christ by serving one another, and remain steadfast in well-doing.
The Lay Council equips believers to grow, lead, and serve with excellence. This ministry supports the Pastor, strengthens the church, and encourages members to use their gifts for Kingdom work. At Hope Chapel, all members are part of the life and witness of the church, whether serving in elected roles, appointed roles, or through faithful participation.
Christian Education provides guidance, development, and spiritual formation for children, youth, young adults, and adults in the Christian way of life. Through teaching, discipleship, study, and faith development, this ministry helps Hope Chapel grow stronger across generations.
Worship and music ministries help lead the congregation in praise, worship, creativity, and spiritual expression.
A youth and teen ministry that brings rhythm, culture, creativity, and spiritual expression into the life of Hope Chapel.
The choir helps lead the congregation in worship through hymns, gospel music, and sacred song.
The Media Ministry supports worship, communication, sound, visual needs, and digital ministry efforts.
Leadership and service ministries support the spiritual, administrative, and operational life of the church.
Supports the sacred work of the church through service, care, and worship support.
Encourages men in fellowship, service, spiritual growth, and support of the church.
Supports the Pastor and assists with the spiritual and temporal responsibilities of the church.
Serves the church through worship support, preparation, and care connected to sacred services.
Supports the care, stewardship, and maintenance of church property and resources.
Welcomes and assists worshipers with hospitality, order, and care during services.
Outreach and community ministries help Hope Chapel serve beyond the walls of the church and respond to the needs of the community.
Provides support and care to the community through clothing and other helpful resources.
Serves individuals and families through food assistance and community care.
Helps keep the church informed, engaged, and responsive to community needs and opportunities.
Shares the Good News of Jesus Christ and helps extend Hope Chapel's witness in the community.
Supports church communication, announcements, visibility, and promotion of ministry activities.
Supports mission, service, spiritual growth, and outreach through the broader AME Zion tradition of missionary work.
Hospitality and support ministries help create a welcoming, caring, and organized church environment.
Supports fellowship, church gatherings, special programs, and ministry hospitality through food service.
Welcomes members, visitors, and guests with warmth, care, and hospitality.
